Luca Bogoni is an art director, graphic designer, and illustrator based in Berlin. Along with his co-founders he is a partner in Abenteuer Design, a network of creative professionals whose projects include the visual identity for the Jewish Museum in Berlin’s “Die ganze Wahrheit” exhibition of 2013. In the past few years Luca has worked on the identity, communications, and catalogs for clients such as FAI fondo ambiente italiano (the Italian national trust), the Biennale of Arts of Marrakech, the Neue Gesellschaft für bildende Kunst Berlin’s exhibition “The ultimate capital is the sun”, and countless others. From 2010 to 2013 Luca developed the visual style and all printed communications for the Italian Embassy in Berlin’s exhibition “ITaliens,” showing works of contemporary Italian artists based in Berlin. Since 2008 he has freelanced for Moleskine's offices in New York, MiIan, Hong Kong, and Shangai. Projects with Moleskine ranged from books, videos, exhibitions and catalogues for Moleskine itself to limited-edition projects for partners like the Philip Johnson Glass House, Target, and MoMA's film department. Previously he was creator and co-director of the underground magazine ZA!revue, featured in different exhibitions and competitions. Luca's posters were twice recognized as “100 beste Plakate” the best 100 posters of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and also by Art Directors Club of Germany. His works have been published by Abitare, Novum, Sushi, and other blogs and magazines. Luca's interests are typography, lettering, illustration, collage, mail, art, phototgraphy, and DIY production. He is always looking at mixed media to develop new ways of communication.
